This knot isn’t only ideal for magnet fishing, it’s one of the most common knots for regular fishing as well. It’s set up like a half-noose.

- Ideal for braided line.
- Easy to tie.
- Great for being tied around large diameters
- Good for tying lines together
How to tie a Uni Knot:
- Put line through magnet eye.
- Double the line back so that it is parallel.
- Lay tag end over the doubled line to make a loop.
- Make about 6 rounds around the double backed line with the tag end.
- Push through the loop
- Pull the end through the loops and pull tight
- Slide knot down to the eye or leave a small loop if desired
- Cut off excess
